Atlanta — February 10, 2009 — Cypress Care, a Healthcare Solutions company, announced today that it successfully completed an American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) SAS 70 Type II examination. The report completed at the conclusion of the audit noted no exceptions. In completing the examination through an independent auditor, Cypress Care established its adherence to one of the most stringent, industry-accepted auditing standards for service companies.

SAS 70 certification validates that a service organization has completed an objective, in-depth audit of its information control activities, which include controls over information technology processes. A Type I report describes the service organization's description of its controls at a specific point in time. A Type II report not only includes a description of the controls, but also includes a detailed testing of those controls.
The Type II certification achieved by Cypress Care provides assurance to customers that adequate logical, physical and environmental controls are operating effectively. The examination can be used by clients during audits of their own financial statements.
