Joe Boures, Chief Operating Officer,
is responsible for providing direction and oversight for Healthcare
Solutions’ current and emerging product offerings, as well as
information technology, legal and human resources functions. Boures
has over 20 years of experience working in financial and
operational leadership positions within the workers’
compensation market.
Most recently, Boures served as president for Specialty Risk Services, Inc. (SRS), a subsidiary of The Hartford Financial Services Group, which was sold to Sedgwick Claims Management Services in 2011. As president, he oversaw all facets of the SRS operations, including business development, account management and field operations. Prior to this appointment, Boures served in deputy controller and strategic business development positions for The Hartford. Before joining the Hartford, Joe served as vice president and controller with GAB Robins North America and as assistant vice president of internal audit at Continental Insurance Company.
Boures received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, a certified public accounting (CPA) designation in 1986 and a chartered financial analyst designation in 2001.
